À propos du livre
Manhattan’s crosswalks teem with life like rivers–I sift my camera through the rushing stream as if panning for gold. Water flows around boulders and logs–I meander past unhurried tourists, mothers and daughters, clanging construction zones, whizzing bicycles, stop signs and Signs of The Times. On cool summer mornings, in these heady days of spatial computing and artificial intelligence, I gaze into Madison Square Park’s reflection pool–looking down, yet up at the 100-year-old Flatiron Building. What else will stand the test of time? I am not in a rush to find out–I try in vain to slow things down with each click, tap, press, though the light of Golden Hour proves far less permanent than Gold.
