Seeing the floor of my partially constructed studio littered with hammers and other tools became the prompt for this series of photographs. There is something endearing and nostalgic about the simple hand tool and that is represented in the photographs. This collection is largely a straight forward representation of hammers stacked or scattered in my studio.
