The Treasured Stillness collection was captured whilst walking with my camera in nature, reflecting and being open to the light that is around me.

I started this collection of works in January 2020, when the light shining through the sap on the trees caught my attention. No two days are the same. The detail and variety of shapes, sizes and textures just amazes me.

I am thankful that I can use the joy of photography as a way to not only express my creativity but also nurture my spirit, mind and body.

Spending time in nature, being still and reflecting on creation speaks to my soul bringing me the simplicity of joy and peace.

I hope that I can share this experience with you through my Treasured Stillness collection.

As there are treasures all around us (in nature, our loved ones, music etc), I also hope that the Treasured Stillness will encourage you to start you own treasure hunt bringing joy and peace to you.
