À propos du livre
I have an interest in past generations, especially between the 1920's - 1950's. I am interested in the people and how society has changed over the years. Elderly people today are the last of a generation that appreciated the smaller things in life. I look up to how they lived with a lot less than we have nowadays. Also a time that there was a strong sense of community and your neighbours meant more than just the person who lived next door.
My nan, being 84 is from this generation, she means a lot to me. She is someone I look up to and have learnt a lot from over the years, although she might not be aware of how much she has taught me. I decided to document parts of her life not only because she is highly entertaining, but to capture qualities and personality of someone who is from a generation that won't be with us for much longer.
