Through projection, distortion, juxtaposition and pictorialism, art photographer Adam Schrader explores how to make surrealist photographs that comment on the effects of the media, self-value, body image and the generally bizarre and beautiful. Some of the photographs were inspired by Schrader's time working in the news business while a series of photos included in the book comments on nudity in Hollywood films.
