In the summer of 2021, I made a long travel to Iriomote Island in the Yaeyama Islands. The Yaeyama Islands are located south of Okinawa and close to Taiwan. Iriomote Island was registered as a World Natural Heritage site in 2021. At first, I had an image that Iriomote Island is only a subtropical jungle. When I went there, I realized that my image was wrong. Iriomote is not only a jungle, but also the nature of the sea, sky, stars, flora and fauna are the best. During the daytime, it is always hot with cumulonimbus clouds. But near mangrove forests and waterside areas, a pleasant southern breeze blows through even during the daytime.
