My book is my path, trying to show visually how the loss of my wife Teresa affected my mental health, having suicidal thoughts for years after. I would like to help start a conversation around this subject and show how many people it affects in the UK.
Within the book are images of how I felt lost inside, it is a visual way for me could express myself in a safe way. Having no path out from the darkness, photography became so important, as I started to look into ways, I became more aware of the therapeutic side of photography and how it can help in so many ways. helping me to want to see tomorrow.
