Upon stumbling across an overflowing yellow plastic tub in the shed of my family home, I discovered deteriorating relics of the untold coming of age stories experienced by my dad and his brothers from 1980 - 1995. In a Billingham-esque fashion, the photos I selected reveal warm and nostalgic tales of play and friendship which would have otherwise been ignored. The photos sparked conversations with my father about old memories and faces I may have never found out about, I believed the images to be charming and felt compelled to preserve and exhibit them for him and others in this photobook.
