LynneKari is the combined name of two friends who have collaborated on children’s books . Lynne Backer is the author and Kari Olson is the illustrator of these books. Lynne lived with the company of Norwegian Elkhounds for thirty years. She was an educator in a K-8 school district. She has written curriculum, speeches, articles for local and national publications, a script for an educational video, poems and instructional books for teachers and parents to use with children. These books are w Kari is the artist and a photographer, and retired occupational therapist, who has written and illustrated ten books of her own. She contributed to numerous other books, canine publications, newsletters and magazines. She currently owns her 8th and 9th Norwegian Elkhounds, and is still active in many activities with her dogs including pet therapy . Children in schools and libraries have enjoyed reading her books written and illustrated with humor and love. For young readers.
