Ever since a fifth grade family vacation to New York City, I have had a passion for photography. Then, while in college, I got bit by the travel bug. Over the past few years I have become obsessed with roaming the globe and documenting my experiences, sharing the adventures and journeys with those closest to me. From the busy markets of the nation’s capital to the distant rain forests where few ever venture, spending ten days in Ecuador was one of the best experiences of my life, and as the trip reached its end I knew I wanted to do something special to remember my stay. The idea behind this photography book was born in a remote jungle known as Puyo, and a week later in Long Beach, California, the dream became a reality.
