Sean Voelger was born in Mineola, Long Island in 2000. He is studying for a BFA at the School of Art and Design, New York State College of Ceramics (NYSCC) at Alfred University and is anticipated to graduate in May 2022. His focus of study is in expanded media, digital technology, and sound. His work is inspired by different states of mind and inner thoughts that are organized through sound and visual representations. Voelger’s work has been exhibited in many shows and has received various awards statewide; such as the Borrelli Memorial Scholarship award received at the Alfred University honors convocation. Voelger lives and works in Clifton Park, NY.
