À propos du livre
The British suburbia in these pictures reminds me of growing up in the '70s.
It’s the suburbia where relatives lived.
The houses were new. The furniture was new. They had split-level lounge-dining rooms and serving hatches. There were microwaves and food processors in the kitchens. They ate yoghurt and slept under duvets.
There were paintings of Mediterranean markets on the walls.
The sun shone.
My relatives were fun. Their houses were fun. I loved the air, the light, and the optimism.
These suburbs have retired into neatly-tended old age. But the sun is still shining.

À propos du créateur
I'm a photographer based in Worcester, UK. I like photographing people, flowers, urban details and all the other stuff I see around me. Sometimes I photograph pieces of paper, just to see how they look photographed. I also make stereographic projections.
