À propos du créateur
Carol Schaeffer began painting as a young girl in elementary school in Philadelphia in the 1940’s attending Saturday art classes all thru grade and high school. She attended art classes at 210 Lincoln Drive in Germantown and at what is now known as the University of the Arts at Broad and Pine Streets in Philadelphia. Much of her adult life she was employed by Architects and Design centers, being able to use her talent for rendering perspective drawings of projects. She attended as many local art classes as her busy schedule with family and employment allowed Now with her children all grown Carol has time to paint as much as she wishes. She paints mainly landscapes in oil in Newtown Square and surrounding areas. A member of the Newtown Square Historical Preservation Society she feels compelled to capture the old buildings and scenes in the area before the developers capture them. Carol has served on the Board of the Artists’ Guild of Delaware County, and The Delaware Valley Art.
