À propos du livre
The Skagit Valley, nesting 60 miles north of Seattle, is a rich and beautiful land in which unique and intriguing views are possible around any corner. Anyone familiar with the area will have their own idea about some iconic scene which best represents the area for them. In this collection, I have gathered a group of images which captures a personal view of the Skagit and its surrounding areas. Missing however are many shots with tulips which, for however briefly, make such an impact on the valley. To do them justice, they are the focus of their own collection which looks at the tulips in the field and at the epicenter of this colorful explosion, the Roozengaarde Display Gardens. Here I have selected the images of town and country which represent my own valley view. All of the images have been manipulated to some extent to express my personal perspective of this captivating area.
