À propos
As an aspiring poet I write a lot about womanhood and specifically being a strong Woman of Color and how I internalize it as part of my identity and the racial struggles it brings forward. I also write about love and the deep connection that two people can share, and lastly I write political poems expressing my frustration with the world around us.
My upcoming book is called “Agehya of Nulinigvgv [Woman of Strength]”. The title is in Iroquois Cherokee language which stems from my Native American roots. The book captures the developing strength of a Woman of Color as she is experiences love and also observes the world around her both politically and socially.
