Cascadia is this unique biodiverse region in western North America of which I am proud to call home. My family emigrated to Vancouver Island when I was quite young, and I have grown to appreciate the nuances of the natural world and historic human history of this place with settlements near here dating to the last glacial period.

In photographing landscapes, I strive to develop a unique visual style which emanates the raw wildness of the region in both it's fury and gentle embrace within each image. I feel I am on the right path.
