About the Author

Varoujean Tilbian was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the son of Avedis and Rebecca (Ohanian) Tilbian, both survivors of the Armenian Genocide.

Raised on stories of courage, survival, and resilience, he built an international career spanning more than five decades and four continents.

A pioneer in the printing industry, he helped advance the transition from conventional to digital printing, serving in executive and product development roles in the United States and Europe before turning to writing.

Today, Varoujean is the author of more than thirty books, including memoirs, illustrated histories, historical fiction, and reflective works that explore survival, identity, resilience, and justice. He writes in English, Western Armenian, Italian, and Amharic, bringing diverse cultures and perspectives to his work.

Through his writing, he preserves history, honors those who came before him, and encourages future generations to remember, reflect, and continue learning.
