Author, Susan Corbett has written several short stories to her grandson, Santiago, who was born in Costa Rica. "Nani Susie" , who lives on the coast of Maine, has used writing as a way of living apart, but staying close to little Santi.

Her first story, "Hello Baby, It's Me, Nani" was written during daughter's pregnancy. A strong believer in communicating with babies in utero, Nani talked and sang to her unborn grandchild throughout her daughter's pregnancy.

The stories are creative, imaginative, and express the love of a grandmother to her grandchild.
