I started researching my own family history sporadically in 1998 and about 7 years ago the genealogy book. I began working on my own family tree and others that knew I researched genealogy. Began doing professional genealogy work 3 years ago and have enjoyed seeing the faces of my families I have researched when presented with their family history. It has been a real joy to bring to life their ancestors for them.
I am married to my wonderful wife Crystal and have 5 children, two stepchildren, and a grandson.
My Uncle, Luther Norman Shelkett, Jr. encouraged me to write from an early age and cheered me on in all of my endeavors. I hope he is smiling now.
