I am a 71 year old wife for 48 years, mother of three sons, and grandmother to 4 most delightful granddaughters. After making homes in many places, including a number of years in Indonesia, we took root once more in Texas. Our two rescue cats, Angel and Bella are at home here, too. I write poetry, family stories, and memoir, and blog weekly. I invite you to share my faith, family, my herb garden! I love Mary Oliver's poetry lines: "Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it." In many ways, the blogs are an extension of the written journals I have kept for years, which are private musings. It is a turning point to make the decision to open the book and offer it to others to read. I am still a bit shy about that. So part of my astonishment is always that others do stop to read!
