I was born in Havana, Cuba. I left my country because of the Communist regine that rules the island. I have lived in Miami since the age of 13. I am a teacher in Miami, Florida, have been married for 36 years and have three children: Aresh, Mariam and Michelle Y.
I love and value life, my family, my profession, children, friends, to write, photography, poetry and Cuba.
