Lauren Peterson English was born in the spring of 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to William and Susanne Peterson. Surely, the roses were blooming that day, along with the Magnolia tree in their yard.

She is married to the man of her dreams, Richard English, and together they have raised Rachel, Jessie and Mitchell who are all tremendously creative in their own right.
