Karen Schwartz is a visual artist represented by The Bill Lowe Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) and clinical psychologist with a psychotherapy practice in Atlanta. She has shown work in juried group and solo exhibitions and had portraits and landscapes placed in private and corporate collections. This most recent body of work reveals her exploration of abstract handling of the human figure, and an abiding interest in human nature and relational connection as expressed through gesture and implied movement and emotion. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, also a clinical psychologist. Their two adult daughters are professional actors.
