Kirk Boes was born in Newport Beach, California and moved to Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii with his parents and siblings in 1973. Kirk graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he studied music and art. He married his true love, Laura, in 1986. He is a fine artist whose work has been collected since 1989. He has served as a gallery director for the Lahaina Arts Society. He currently is the Arts Education Director for the Lahaina Arts Guild, an award winning non-profit that provides children's art programs.
