I have been taking pictures since childhood, visually exploring “life’s moments”. Having the opportunity to shoot for many friends and clients over the years with various needs gave me a chance to discover that “unique angle”... with the desire to not just deliver a photo, but to tell the story with that image.

It seems like I have always had a camera in my hands (23+ years of experience!) starting a Kodak Disk 4000 camera, then on to my first 35mm SLR film camera; a Minolta Maxxum 7000 in 1987. I then progressed into the digital age with a Sony Cybershot H50, and now recent days a Canon 50D.

My aspiring website and first book will spur my attempt at freelance work, brought on by my first formal training, a college level class in the spring of 2010 at Northlake College. I hope use this to look back and tell myself... "Wow, I had some pretty good skills and a good eye for it", but also I would like this to be the beginnings of new and improved skills, techniques and angles.
