Mark Iocchelli was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was raised in the nearby farming community of Pipestone, and now lives in the city of his birth with his wife, two children, a too-cute-for-words cockapoo, and a polydactyl cat with a gland problem.

Besides his love for photography, Mark enjoys running, all manner of ethnic food, and learning about science - especially evolution, astronomy.and paleontology (because, as you undoubtedly know, dinosaurs rock!).
