Writing is the only craft that has ever really been able to maintain my focus. The works of Jack Kerouac, Sylvia Plath, and J. D. Salinger are the ones that inspire me most personally, though I could never dream of measuring up to their genius. Most of what I write is short fiction, however, I have just tried my hand at a children's novella: Sea Salt. I am the third-place winner of the 2018 TCTE short fiction contest.
