Simon Hardiman was born in Perth, Western Australia where he was raised and grew up. After graduating from high school he moved to Kalgoorlie where he studied and became a Mining Engineer.

Through his worldwide travel his passion for adventure and photography has grown.

He is now the author of two books including: The World I've Seen.
