Graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1955. I served on surface warships and became active in diving and demolition. Following Naval service, I joined NASA and specialized in various phases of rocketry, including unmanned launch vehicles, payloads, system safety and ordnance. I retired in 2001 and spend my time between Stuart, Florida and Ocean View, Delaware.
