David Tucker II

Seattle-based photographer David Tucker II has had his photographic series of works, "DANCEWORKS" and "The Human Landscape," exhibited throughout the nation. His "DEPLOYED: Haiti, Kosovo, Iraq" series is a compilation of photographs from his military experiences in those countries. He recently had photographs on exhibition at the Royal Photographic Society, Museum of Gloucester, Whatcom Museum, Cape Cod Museum of Art, Photographic Center NW, Blue Sky Gallery and Springfield Art Museum.

In 2016, Tucker traveled to Liberia where he photographed and interviewed local Liberians involved in combating the 2014-2015 Ebola epidemic. This new documentary series, titled "Smoke," includes black and white photographs and a short 24-minute film.

His images have been published in Black and White Magazine, Blur magazine, American Theater Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Seattle Times, and numerous other publications.
