À propos
I bought my first camera in 1955, a 120 B&W film Kodak box camera. I first got into 35 mm in 1960. Using the famous Kodachrome 25 slide film I learned about photography by trial and error and reading. I became a dentist in 1967 and used photography in my practice as I became proficient in Cosmetic Dentistry, introducing portraiture into my practice. I moved to digital in 1997 and shortly after began using a surgical microscope equipped with a digital camera. I moved into teaching, lecturing and writing for dental journals and academies. My extracurricular photography was always present as well as learning through workshops and seminars. I began traveling the world in the 1960's and still do today. Due to a house fire in 2007 all of my life work was lost save for a small amount on a recovered hard drive. In this book I feature photos from travels only in the last 5 years, taken with a point and shoot digital camera converted to Infrared and postproduction to B&W in Lightroom 4.
