Dawn Bowery is a photographer specializing in travel and portraiture. With a technical and creative background in film and television visual effects she combines her years of visual effects with her passion for photography and travel.

Through a natural empathy for her subject Dawn's image entice the viewer into often unseen worlds, whilst her elegant aesthetic awareness brings a classic sense of composition with a unique treatment of colour. Her collections of fine art include photographs taken in New York, Arizona, Cuba, China, and England.

Dawn was amongst the six finalists in l Wanderlust Travel Photographer of the year 2011 competition who were selected from over 10,000 entries.

Dawn undertakes various commissions and is also working on her upcoming coffee table book: “California Dreaming: Real life stories of Brits in LA”. The book features a range of inspiring British people and combines stunning environmental portraits with real life stories of their journey so far.
