À propos
I'm a wife, mom, home cook, and food lover. I learned to cook from my mom, an amazing cook who taught me that some of the best memories are made around the table. I've never been professionally trained, but I've catered events for friends and family over the years.
I'm fearless in the kitchen. I measure garlic with my heart, rarely make the exact amount of food we need, and always say, “If you can eat it, I can cook it.” I'll try anything once—and if I love it, chances are I'm going home to figure out how to make it myself.
After recently trading Washington for Texas, I miss sharing meals with friends and family back home, making preserving these recipes even more meaningful.
The Food That Fed My Family began as something I wanted to make for my kids: a place to keep the recipes they grew up with, the food they remember, and a little piece of home they could always take with them.
Cooking is how I love people. I hope these recipes become part of your family's story, too.
