CC Ashley is a mental health professional, writer, poet & self-proclaimed art connoisseur. The study of human behavior & the arts have always been passions of hers. The more that life taught its lessons, it became clear there was a direct correlation between the arts & psychology, increasing her awareness of the ways art not only influences but also evokes emotions, behaviors, styles, personas and so much more. Through the practice of poetry and the study of psychology and visual & performance art, it also became clear that one's mental state also influences the art they produce. They rely on each other. This revelation sparked a life-long journey of introspection, fueled by creativity, spirituality, transparency, reflection, healing, & unapologetic self-expression. This work promotes the type of growth that permeates to the depths of one's core. So, it became her mission to share her insight in hopes to help other lights connect to their power.
