I have been fascinated with photography since my mom purchased a Canon back in the ‘The Day’ with a telephoto lens. Oh, the swim meet and ballet recital pictures she took with that camera!

I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master’s degree in Business Management as well as Samford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In my senior year of undergraduate work at Samford, I took a photography class and fell in love with the craft. I developed (old school) and edited my own work using my mom’s old Canon.

Since then, I moved into digital photography and studied with the best – including Lynne Rigby, Ashley Spaulding. and numerous others. I completed many courses – including technical processing and editing as well as lifestyle photography with children.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and The National Association of Professional Women
