I am a proud native of Chadbourn, North Carolina, with deep roots in the Southern countryside. A lifelong lover of learning, I earned my undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and later obtained my Master’s degree from North Carolina Central University.

As the eldest of twelve siblings and a devoted mother to my two wonderful children, Donnie and Isabella, family has always been at the heart of everything I do. They are my greatest inspiration and the driving force behind my journey.

At 28, I transitioned into the role of a stay-at-home mother and launched my own crafting business, Souly Divine LLC, turning my passion for creativity into an entrepreneurial venture. One day, while reading to my children, I felt inspired to explore my own creativity through storytelling, using rhythm and rhyme to bring my words to life.
