À propos
I completed my B.A. in Applied Arts from Seoul National University of Science and Technology in Korea in 1994, followed by an M.F.A. in Fine Art from Gachon University in 1997. In 2015, I moved to the United States where I spent three and a half years studying photography, graphic design, videography, and ceramics at Bakersfield College. I also spent one semester in a master’s program in photography at California State University, Fresno, to further develop my artistic vision.
Since 1994, my artworks have been exhibited in both Korea and the United States, earning numerous awards for my artistic achievements.
My work draws from personal experiences and emotions, often reflecting the fragility and resilience of my feelings. I explore the delicate balance between presence and absence through copper wire sculptures, painting, and photography, using light and shadow to express themes.
