I am a photographer and mixed-media artist who is interested in making art accessible and affordable to everyone; why we create and the importance of the creative process.

I believe that the process of creating is just as important as the end product. My creative process includes experimentation with various medium combinations.

My photographs read like a diary and represent my memories and view points of a moment, object or space. My equipment includes an Olympus Digital SLR, Olympus Point and Shoot, Kodak Duaflex IV, various plastic cameras, a Droid X cell phone and IPAD2. I am influenced by Jeff Brouws, Stephen Shore, and William Eggleston.

My mixed media work is based on abstract elements from my photographs. My work includes encaustic paintings, monotype printing, pen and ink sketches, collage and book making.
