Jonathan Richards is an author, journalist, actor, and cartoonist. His most recent novel is Nick & Jake (Arcade Publishing, 2012), an epistolary comic novel set in the McCarthy era, written with his brother Tad Richards. He is a member of the Online Film Critics Society. His political cartoons appear regularly on the website WhoWhatWhy.org. He illustrated Oscar-winner Alan Arkin’s children’s book Cosmo. He is a Founding Member of the New Mexico Actors Lab, and 2024 winner of New Jersey’s Perry Award as Best Actor (King Charles III). He has worked in film translation as writer, actor, director, and editor in New York and Paris. He lives in Verona, NJ with his wife Claudia Jessup, a best-selling novelist under the name Meredith Rich.
