I was born in Highbury, London in 1941.
One of an identical twin, my brother Peter died at 3 months.
I moved to Australia with my parents in 1949 and now live in the beautiful Blue Mountains village of Woodford in New South Wales.
I am a retired Scientific Glassblower.
I have traveled extensively throughout Asia and the Sub-continent since a teenager, and still enjoy backpacking.
I finally returned to visit England in 2007 and have been back to explore my roots. I have fallen in love again with the English countryside, and this walk was an attempt to connect closely with my origins.
