There are quite a few people able to spot "a fantastic shot," and several of them actually decide to go into photography; Dina stands out not only because she knows what to focus on, but also her ability to wait for the perfect moment. Watching her at work is impressive: she embodies a combination of sharp focus (in both her resolve and her camera) and relaxed energy.

Dina's years of experience have developed her ability to cut through people's self consciousness, posturing, and discomfort to take honest and often times startling shots. From her band portraiture to her landscapes, Dina can derive what's truly important about a scene, and isn't afraid to take any shot that comes her way--- Her range of tastes is as broad as her range of subjects, and I've had the pleasure of seeing her equally at ease at concerts, in studios and homes.
