Dione Beaty is a Caribbean children's book author, songwriter, and worship leader from the Commonwealth of Dominica. Her books — including Granny Beltina's Stories: Tales from the Village of Wotton Waven, Bengal and the Tree Trunk, and Mr. Blackberry — celebrate Dominican culture, faith, and the wonder of childhood, written in English and Kwéyòl for young readers everywhere.
Alongside her books, Dione creates bilingual zouk gospel music for children and families, blending Caribbean rhythms — djembe, talking drum, shekere, steel pan — with scripture-rooted songs. Her upcoming children's albums Little Ones (Vini Bò Jézi) and God Is Love / Bondyé Sé Lanmou carry the same heart as her storybooks: pointing little ones to Jesus through the sounds and soul of the islands.
