The author, Stan A. Milkowski Sr., immigrated to the United States
of America from Ireland at the age of nine years with his parents and sister. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University and a retired engineer from a major airframe manufacturer. Stan is also an avid and published photographer and he has received numerous awards. Stan makes his home in Burien, Washington with his long time wife, Nancy.
