Kim is a Deaf artist, graphic designer, hobbyist, and artivist. She received both her Masters of Science in Adult, Occupational and Continuing Education, and Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Kansas State University. She worked in the Vocational Rehabilitation and Mental Health fields for 20+ years and is now retired from those fields. She is currently a Lecturer for the University of Kansas-Edwards Campus's popular course "Introduction to Deaf Studies" which has a maximum enrollment of 75 and has a waiting list every semester. Kim is passionate about lifelong learning, creativity, and social justice.
