À propos du créateur
Arlé Sklar-Weinstein
Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706 USA
Arlé Sklar-Weinstein is an award winning visual artist who identified herself as an artist by the age of 7. She explores a wide range of media and techniques, acquired from her studies at Parsons School of Design, Museum of Modern art classes, BS and MS degrees from New York University, all in NYC, inner and world travels. Psychedelic drawings, paintings of the 1960's are in Museum and private collections. Upcycled paintings from the 1970's were used as source and muse to create this current series of Stitched Canvas Collages. Distress about the deteriorating condition of air and water, the severity and frequency of storms and drought has influenced much of this recent work.
