À propos du créateur
One of the founding members of Newcastle's well known Seven Painters group, Andrew Finnie's work is represented in The Newcastle Grammar School Collection, The Chris and Helen Ford Collection, and The Lockup Historical Trust's Collection - and in many private collections. He has been the feature artist in C3DE magazine. His digital work can be seen in several on line magazines and has been used in teaching at Canberra Institute of Technology. In 2011 Andrew published two books via blurb. The first, entitled: "The Story of Gretel and Franke", is a facsimile of a work made for the artists' book show "Happily Ever After." A rewrite of the Hansel and Gretel tale from the witch's viewpoint, the book features 74 pages of illustrations. The second book: "Andrew Finnie: Newcastle Painter", is close to 200 pages. Both books are available in limited Artist's Editions of 100. Andrew Finnie is contactable via his blog: http://andrewfinnie.blogspot.com/
