À propos du livre
This book describes the historical Ur excavation site in Southern Iraq, as seen by the author and other soldiers in 2009. The city of Ur was the birthplace of Abraham, who became central to the story of the Bible.
A pyramid-shaped structure called a ziggurat is the most visible of all of the structures in and around Ur. The site has been under continuous excavation and exploration since the 1920's when it was controlled by the British.
Today, the Iraqi's are continuing the process of excavating, identifying, documenting and rebuilding this very fascinating and historical place.
