Our adventure began in Sydney, Australia, where we spent a day exploring the iconic sights. On our second day, we boarded the Celebrity Solstice for a spectacular 12-night cruise around New Zealand. We visited beautiful ports, including Bay of Islands, Auckland, Tauranga, and Akaroa. Unfortunately, our shore excursions in Dunedin were canceled due to heavy fog, preventing the ship from entering the port. Additionally, we encountered a cyclone, which made sightseeing in the New Zealand Sounds impossible, prompting us to return to Sydney a day earlier than planned.
Once back in Sydney, we spent 3 days soaking in the city's vibrant culture and attractions before flying to Auckland, where we rented a car for 8 days to explore the stunning North Island. We arranged our own accommodation and enjoyed a variety of experiences throughout our travels.
