À propos du livre
this book is a collection of sketches done on location in Algonquin Park, Ontario over the period of May to August in the summer of 2008. My technique involves the use of conte, mechanical pencil, drawing pencil and etchings to produce a unique semi-impressionist look. The sketches are of "real" scenes while camped on the shores of the very beautifull and large Opeongo Lake and as well some other lakes i portaged into. For myself i like to think that these sketches portray both the reality of Opeongo and its Spirit and mysticism. It is an incredible place and i invite you to explore it with this book. And i hope that inspires you to journey onto the lakes of Algonquin itself.
