A few years ago I began to keep a mass journal. In it I would jot down one thought or idea I had at mass in which God showed me a way I could become a better person that week. During those years my travels took me to many different churches around the country. I heard many wonderful sermons and sang many beautiful and inspiring songs and my journal continued to fill one message at a time. Recently, I read through my journal and I noticed that one voice in particular spoke out to me time and time again. That voice belonged to Fr. Jim Krings.

Challengingly, lovingly, inspiringly, and humorously he spoke and if you listened his sermons would offer you a path to be a better person. For me, a line or two of his sermon would always reverberate within me and before I knew it I had my mass message, my thought to carry with me into the coming week. In this book I've gathered a year of Fr. Jim's Sunday messages and I share them with you. May they inspire you to become a better person.
